In Powell we trust

NEW hot penny stock watchlist

Good morning,

Today is the FOMC interest-rate decision and it’s a big one. The press conference starts at 2:30 PM EST. I’m anticipating Powell will stay the course on lowering rates starting this summer.

Below you’ll find a list of low-priced stocks and options I’m looking to trade. Let’s start with the small-cap index itself.

IWM $207 calls are likely to do very well into the weekend and next week if Powell stays the course with a June rate cut. I think the April 26 expiration makes sense here. Small-caps will start to perform very well in anticipation of rates coming down as well as when they start coming down.

It should be a big day for LQMT! I am long-term the stock at $.09 and manage a big core position, buying and selling without notice, looking for a 10-bagger on some of my shares at or above $1. Here’s a quick recap followed by what I think is coming next. 1) Recently CEO buys about a million shares at these levels which got my attention that something might be starting. 2) Then the Evie ring by startup Movano goes on sale which is made of LQMT. Oprah promotes the Evie ring and its now sold out. 3) Liquidmetal launches new website. 4) Then LQMT hosts a conference call and shows strong revenue from early sales with an exciting pipeline. 4) CEO makes it clear Yihao is capable of handling all manufacturing, however, needs a USA second source manufacturer in place for mass production. 5) And sure enough, last night that manufacturer news was announced!

I speculate something is about to happen, possibly with AAPL. Why? Look at the design of the Evie ring, which is up for FDA approval.

Now look at this Patently Apple ring news that HIT THIS WEEK. Apple’s sketch in figure 11 is what Evie made. But Apple bought exclusive consumer electronic rights to LQMT for $20M. And fpt (watch video) was quick to jump on this news. Tell me I’m wrong?! Something big is likely unfolding here.

And it’s not like LQMT to do press releasees, which is why I think all of this suggests something big is coming sooner versus later. This has been a boring trade for year, but now I truly think it’s close to a big move higher.

I’ll keep my ear to the ground on this one. This is getting exciting. Remember, the CEO’s 5M stock options are tied to a Nasdaq listing or $1 price split adjusted. I do think they uplist soon and to do that, something big likely needs to happen first.

A few hot penny stocks I’m watching to swing trade are biotechs GRTS above $2.50 for a $3 breakout, JAGX above $.10 on news this morning with range to $.20, OBLG above $.20 with range to $.50, also up on news, and finally NKGN above $2 with range to $4.

Less volatile but still very exciting swing trade ideas I’m watching include INSG above $3 for a move to $4, CLVR above $3.80 for a move to $5, and OCTO at $.80 for a move to $1-$1.20.

Then we have a few fibonacci retracement stocks STRC around $1.80, PIK around $4.80, and JAN above $2.50.
