Why VS went up 500%+

How to day trade premarket

Good morning,

NOTICE: Today I plan to launch a small 20 person 30 day test group for the $2,000 Small Account Journey. Details midday in an email.

We’ve been smashing small-cap day and swing trades lately.

Today is day 2 of the 30 day bootcamp.

You’re assignment is to watch this short 1-minute video and hear how I go through the trade checklist live.

My analysis identifies a stock trading in the $1’s moments before it goes to the $4’s premarket? Over 500% that morning!

Use this checklist to increase probability of hooking a monster.

  1. Amazing news (filter out puffery)

  2. Big range (50-100% to major resistance)

  3. Float (smaller = could run faster through range)

  4. Short interest (higher = turbocharged breakout)

  5. Dilution risk (must be medium to low)

  6. Entry (am I chasing?)

  7. Take the trade

Write those down. It’s good stuff!

Headed into today I’m short DWAC, long LQMT and MDVL stock.

DWAC continues to trade above $40 and while it was down 10% at times Tuesday, it’s not falling apart. I’ll move on from my short soon if it’s not falling fast towards $35’s.

Who else might Liquidmetal (LQMT) working with that we’re not aware of? Great summary of the Evie ring and Liquidmetal LQMT mentioned in the 2nd paragraph here. Apple invested $20 million in Liquidmetal (LQMT), Eontec’s Li about triple that. Not sure how this story ends (my trade) but I sure hope it’s with some fireworks. I’m long a core position that I add to or subtract from without notice. The CEO recently bought about a million shares around this price. CEO’s sell for a lot of reasons, but they only buy for one. I’m hopeful and excited to find out.

MDVL stock made a nice move Tuesday. I’m in at $3.07 and looking for a retest of Tuesday’s highs around $3.86. My goal is 10-20% so $3.30’s - $3.60’s if it works. This is a nano-cap with a 1M float so if it gets going it could really fly.

For new trades there’s a lot I like.

UXIN and MMAT are oversold fishhooks with big upside range. After a nice win on UXIN, I do favor buying again noting the range from $3-$4 if it whipsaws. Study the fishhook lesson here in the small-cap master cheat sheet. MMAT I’m watching for candle over candle still whereas UXIN has signaled a bottom.

More ideas to come as the day unfolds. Looks like there will be a lot of alerts today.

Make sure you’re a premium subscriber and have enabled notifications so you get the trade alerts moments before I enter and exit. This is ideal for learning in real-time compared to other newsletters who just tout hypothetical backtesting. If you’re not getting the alerts, it’s possible you’re account billing lapsed.
